Negmawah Bay is one if the many small coves of La Vache Bay on the North Coast of Trinidad. To get to Negmawah Bay, you have to travel along the North Coast Road and then take the side road pictured (going up) which is on the left when you are heading east. As you drive pass the Fond Pois Doux Road and later approach the turn off from the west, there is a small leaning retaining wall on the left and a very wide layby on the right. I don’t recall the name of that minor road but it is a private one with a chain across it at most times higher up. If you could park before the way is blocked without obstructing another vehicle, you may do so but parking on the layby should be fine as well. The paved road eventually turns into a gravel track which signals the start of the trail to the bay.
Hi! I’m Keeshan and I’m a outdoor enthusiast living in Trinidad and Tobago. For those who don’t know about T&T, it’s a Caribbean island and from walking through the lush green forests, to exploring clear, refreshing rivers and waterfalls and spending nights on remote, picturesque beaches, there is everything to do in this small country! This blog is dedicated to those who are interested in anything outdoorsy in Trinidad and Tobago. I really enjoy helping people experience T&T like I do and if I can assist or even inspire others to go explore, that would be personally amazing. If you would like to find out any further details or advice on things to do in T&T, please feel free to ask or send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’d love to help!
