The trailhead to Highland Waterfall is located between the villages of Les Coteaux and Mason Hall. Check out the Trail Map for details on the actual route. 

Along the road between the two villages, the Mason Hall – Les Coteaux Road, there is a bridge as shown below. That picture was taken from the Mason Hall side (on the southern side). There are two roads which begin off the north eastern and south eastern corners of the bridge respectively. Take the one that begins at the south eastern side (Mason Hall side). 

If you have a 4×4 vehicle, you can drive along this road. However, if you’re driving a regular car, you may want to park near the bridge.


This side road turns into a narrow dirt track and eventually ends at the river as shown below.

This ford would then be the trailhead for the hike.

If you’re driving along the track, try to park at a clearing on the left hand side before the river. You wouldn’t want anyone coming after you to block your entrance out.
